Step 3: Construction
Your aquatic enviroment will be built in the following stages:
1.) Layout & Excavation- Layout is done by taking pool dimensions from the approved plans and marking out the area to excavate in your yard.
2.) Steel & Plumbing- Next, in the excavated area, steel is placed along the bottom and the walls of your pool. Plumbing is installed to circulate and filter water throughout your pool.
3.) Gunite- Gunite is a concrete mixture that is used to form your pool. The floor and walls are applied with a high-pressure hose. Skimmers, lights, benches, love seats, and steps are hand shaped at this time.
4.)Masonry- Waterline tile is installed around the perimeter of the pool, which provides aesthetic beauty and helps prevent waterline stains on your plaster.
5.) Decking- Decking is laid out with forms according to your plan dimensions. Rebar or fiber mesh is placed in all decks, as well as drainage. When choosing your decking preferences, it is important to take into consideration the space that is neccessary for future tables, chairs, and entertainment equipment.
6.) Equipment Set- Your equipment is delievered and installed at this time. Vision Custom Pools utilizes only high-quality, state of the art equipment.
7.)Finish- The pool finish is now applied, sealing the gunite, and creating the waterproof "living" of your pool. Ask us about the many finishes available to choose from.
